As a travel enthusiast from the scenic state of Washington, I recently had the pleasure of staying at Holly Cottage during my trip to the Lake District. the location was simply unbeatable, just a stone's throw away from the picturesque lake and charming town centre. the cottage itself was a delightful mix of comfort and convenience - from the spacious rooms to the well-equipped kitchen, every detail was carefully thought out. One of the highlights for me was the kitchen, which was impeccably stocked with all the essentials and more. It was a pleasant surprise to find basics like sugar and oil provided, making meal preparation a breeze. the beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after a day of exploring the beautiful surroundings. the communication with the host was seamless, adding to the overall positive experience. the flat-screen TV and cozy sitting area made for cozy evenings in, and the proximity to Kendal Castle added a touch of history to our vacation. I would highly recommend this charming retreat to anyone looking for a memorable getaway in the Lake District.
